JAM/ReportWriter is an add-on product for JAM from JYACC, the leadingapplication development tool. JAM/ReportWriter gives developers apowerful tool for creating production-level reports. Developers useJAM/ReportWriter to paint report sections including page and break-levelheaders and footers, and detail sections. Additionally, developers canreuse report sections created with JAM/ReportWriter. Reports can becalled from a JAM application, from 3GL functions, or from the operatingsystem. Report sections can embed SQL or 3GL function calls forsubsidiary details or calculations. There are no run times forapplications created with JAM/ReportWriter.
